Sri Lanka has no Rhodes constituency. Sri Lankans could previously apply only through the Global Scholarship, which the Rhodes Trust suspended in 2026. There is currently no route from Sri Lanka.
Direct merit and need-based awards from UK universities — typically 10–80% tuition reductions. These are the easiest to win and apply for alongside your admission application.
Country-government scholarships (Chevening, Fulbright, Australia Awards, GKS, MOE Tuition Grant, etc.) — highly competitive, fully or partially funded, often with leadership components.
Private foundations, NGOs and corporate awards — often targeted at specific fields (engineering, healthcare, journalism, women in STEM).
