ICN Global Talent Scholarship
ICN Business School is a French grande école based in Nancy, with campuses in Paris and Berlin, and it is part of the ARTEM alliance — an unusual teaching partnership that puts management students alongside art and design students and mining engineers on shared projects. The Global Talent Scholarship offers up to 20 per cent off tuition fees for first-year Bachelor and M1 students, and up to 15 per cent for M2 students, reserved for international students enrolled in full-time initial training programmes. There is no nationality shortlist, so Sri Lankan applicants are eligible on the same terms as anyone else. Applications are reviewed monthly by a scholarship committee from February to May, which means applying in February gives you a materially better shot than applying in May against a depleted budget. Two practical limits are worth knowing. Work-study or alternance programmes are not eligible, so if you are drawn to the earn-while-you-study route you will not get this award. And ICN awards only one scholarship per student — if you match more than one scheme, the school grants the best of them rather than stacking. ICN also runs a separate Ambition Scholarship worth up to 10 per cent of the first year's tuition, with an end-of-March deadline, as a second route.

info How this award actually works
Who awards it
ICN Business School — not Lanka Scholar. We are not the awarding body and cannot grant, reserve or guarantee this award.
How you are considered
Through your admission application. Awards like this are usually assessed automatically from the application you already submit — there is typically no separate scholarship form to fill in.
What it covers
Up to 20% Off Tuition for Bachelor and M1, Up to 15% for M2. This is a reduction in tuition, not a full ride. You still fund the remainder, plus living costs and the balance your visa requires you to show.
Where we come in
We make the admission application strong enough to be competitive — course choice, documents, references and deadlines. The funder makes the decision.
fact_check Eligibility Criteria
International Student
The scholarship is reserved for international students joining ICN's Bachelor's and Master's programmes. There is no nationality restriction list, so Sri Lankan applicants are eligible.
Full-Time Initial Training Only
You must be enrolled in a full-time initial training programme. Work-study or alternance formats are excluded from the scheme — check the format of your target programme before applying.
One ICN Scholarship Per Student
Only one ICN scholarship is awarded per student. If you qualify for more than one, the school grants the most favourable — you cannot stack the Global Talent and Ambition awards.
Apply Early in the Window
The committee reviews applications monthly between February and May. Budgets deplete as the cycle runs, so a February application is worth more than a May one of the same quality.
English Proficiency
ICN's English-taught programmes generally require IELTS around 6.0–6.5 or an accepted equivalent. Sri Lankan applicants with English-medium degrees should confirm with admissions whether an MOI letter is accepted for their specific programme.

Committee decision
Successful Bachelor and M1 candidates receive up to 20 per cent off tuition; M2 candidates receive up to 15 per cent. Only one ICN award is granted per student.
Campus France and the French student visa
Sri Lankan applicants complete the Campus France Études en France procedure, then apply for the long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) with your admission letter, scholarship confirmation and proof of the required monthly living funds.

Looking for a scholarship because of the cost?
Then start here instead. Scholarships are competitive, usually partial, and decided by someone else — they are the least reliable way to make studying abroad affordable. Your destination and course choice move the number far more, and both are entirely within your control.
