International Student
Open to international undergraduates paying overseas tuition fees. Sri Lankan citizens without Canadian PR or citizenship are eligible.
Outstanding Academics
Sri Lankan A/L 3 As at the indicative floor — typically translated to a 90%+ Canadian average. Stronger A/L profiles or English-medium predicted grades make you more competitive for the larger entrance bundle.
Direct-Entry First Year
You must be entering Queen's as a first-year direct-entry international undergraduate. Transfer students and second-degree applicants are typically not eligible.
Renewal Conditions
Renewable for years 2-4 by maintaining a Queen's cumulative GPA of 2.40 (out of 4.30) — typically a low-second class average in Canadian terms. Drop below this and the scholarship lapses.

Apply via OUAC
Submit your Queen's undergraduate application through OUAC International. Queen's pulls the application, A/L results, and references directly via the OUAC system.
Admissions assessment
Queen's admissions reviews your academic file. If you are admitted with the threshold profile, the offer letter automatically attaches the International Admission Scholarship.
Accept your offer
Confirm your place by accepting the offer on the SOLUS student portal and paying the registration deposit by the stated deadline. The scholarship is applied to your first-year tuition account.
Apply for study permit + arrive
Use the Queen's offer + proof of funds for IRCC's study permit application. Arrive in Kingston in late August for orientation and first-year start in September.
