NBS Global Leaders Programme Scholarship

The NBS Global Leaders Programme Scholarship is one of the strongest undergraduate packages a Sri Lankan student can realistically compete for in Asia. It covers the full subsidised tuition fee — that is, the fee after Singapore's MOE Tuition Grant is applied — and adds a living allowance of S$6,500 per academic year plus a travel grant of up to S$8,000 for the overseas components of the programme. Eligibility is stated plainly as open to all nationalities, which is not something you can say about most Singapore undergraduate funding. The scholarship attaches to selection into the Global Leaders Programme itself, a selective track within Nanyang Business School's four-year Business or Accountancy degree that builds in overseas exposure and leadership development. Sri Lankan applicants normally enter on A-Levels, the IB, or an equivalent Year-12 qualification; interviews run from January to April with shortlists notified by mid-April. Two conditions deserve honest attention. You must maintain a CGPA of at least 3.75 out of 5.0 to keep the award, which is a demanding standard rather than a formality. And international students who accept the MOE Tuition Grant take on a three-year bond to work for a Singapore-registered company after graduating — a real commitment, though for many Sri Lankan graduates it is exactly the outcome they wanted anyway.

Follows the annual NTU undergraduate admissions cycle — interviews run January to April with shortlisted candidates notified by mid-April

Through your admission application. Awards like this are usually assessed automatically from the application you already submit — there is typically no separate scholarship form to fill in.

payments

What it covers

Full Subsidised Tuition Plus S$6,500 Annual Living Allowance and Travel Grant. This is a reduction in tuition, not a full ride. You still fund the remainder, plus living costs and the balance your visa requires you to show.

Where we come in

We make the admission application strong enough to be competitive — course choice, documents, references and deadlines. The funder makes the decision.

Why Nanyang Business School?

Nanyang Business School is among Asia's leading business schools, and the Global Leaders Programme layers overseas study, leadership training and industry exposure on top of the standard degree. Combined with a full-tuition scholarship, a living allowance and a travel grant, it is one of the few undergraduate packages in Asia that is genuinely comparable to a Western full-ride.
