The Macquarie Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship is a one-off AUD 10,000 tuition discount for high-achieving international students joining undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programmes at Macquarie University in Sydney. The award is applied in the first session of study. Macquarie also runs separate India / South Asia-focused regional awards that Sri Lankan students may be eligible for in parallel.

Hold an offer for an eligible Macquarie undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programme. A small list of MBA, executive education, and pathway programmes is excluded.
Strong Academic Record
Demonstrate strong prior academic performance — typically an A/L average above SL university entry for undergraduate, or a strong Bachelor's (upper second-class or higher) for postgraduate.
International Fee Status
Open to overseas fee-paying students. Sri Lankan citizens applying from Sri Lanka qualify; Australian citizens, permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens are not eligible.
English Proficiency
Meet Macquarie's standard English language requirement — typically IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or equivalent TOEFL / PTE.
