JCU International Excellence Award

James Cook University's International Excellence Award is a 20% tuition discount applied across the full duration of an undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme. JCU specialises in tropical environment, marine biology, dentistry, veterinary science, and public health — disciplines tied to its tropical north Queensland location. The award is automatic for eligible offer holders and runs alongside JCU's lower base tuition compared to the Group of Eight, making it one of the more affordable Australian options for Sri Lankan students.

Looking for a scholarship because of the cost?

Then start here instead. Scholarships are competitive, usually partial, and decided by someone else — they are the least reliable way to make studying abroad affordable. Your destination and course choice move the number far more, and both are entirely within your control.
