University of Gothenburg Study Scholarship

The University of Gothenburg Study Scholarship is a merit award covering full or partial tuition for talented non-EU/EEA Master's students — a key route into Swedish higher education, where non-EU students otherwise pay tuition. Gothenburg is one of Sweden's largest and most respected universities, strong across business and economics, the social sciences, IT, and the health sciences, in a vibrant west-coast harbour city. For a Sri Lankan first-class graduate, a tuition waiver makes a Swedish Master's much more affordable, leaving living costs as the main expense (and Sweden has a relatively generous post-study job-seeking residence permit). The scholarship covers tuition only, not living costs, so budget for those separately; we help you combine this with the Swedish Institute and other awards where possible, and build a realistic LKR plan.
