Non-Italian Nationality
Open to non-Italian citizens. Sri Lankan citizens applying from Sri Lanka are eligible. Italian citizens (including Italian dual nationals) apply via separate Bocconi awards for Italian students.
Outstanding Secondary Record
Top-decile academic performance: three strong A/L passes (typically all As) in subjects relevant to the course, IB 38+/45, or equivalent. Strong quantitative subjects (Combined Maths, Economics) matter for Bocconi's management and economics Bachelor's.
Admission to a Bocconi Bachelor's
You must apply for and be progressing toward admission to an eligible Bocconi Bachelor's programme (Economics, Management, International Economics & Business, Mathematical and Computing Sciences, and similar). The award attaches to undergraduate admission.
English Proficiency
Bocconi's international Bachelor's are taught in English — IELTS 6.5+ / TOEFL iBT 88+ (some programmes higher). Sri Lankan applicants from English-medium schooling may qualify via an MOI/exemption route; confirm with Bocconi.

Submit the International Award application
Complete the separate scholarship application via the Bocconi scholarship portal, including the required motivation/essay materials and any supporting documents, before the scholarship deadline (around March).
Merit-and-talent selection
Bocconi's selection committee reviews academic record, motivation, and overall profile. Awards are confirmed in spring; the number of awards is limited and competition is international.
