All LKR figures use the rate noted in the hero. Live rates fluctuate; we update this page quarterly. Last verified: 2026-05-22.
Universities pay us — never you
Lanka Scholar earns a commission from universities when you enrol. You pay tuition and fees directly to the institutions. There is no service fee, registration fee, or agent fee from us.
Ranges, not promises
Tuition and living costs vary by university and city. We've given the realistic middle 80% — not the cheapest possible or most expensive.

How scholarships change this math
Italian Ministry of University and Research (MIUR) bilateral scholarships fund tuition + €450/month stipend for non-EU students at public universities. Bocconi Merit Award covers 20–100% of MSc tuition. Politecnico International Merit Award covers full tuition for top international applicants. EDISU regional scholarships fund students in Piedmont (PoliTo, U Turin) and several other regions.

For students targeting European finance, consulting or business careers, yes — Bocconi has the deepest European recruiting pipeline of any business school, and its MSc Finance is QS top 10 globally. Tuition €18,000–€24,000/year; significant merit scholarships available. -
Do I need Italian? expand_more
Not for English-taught Master's — over 1,000 run entirely in English at Bocconi, Politecnico, Sapienza and others. For Bachelor's at most public universities, B2 Italian is required. A2 Italian helps daily life. -

20 hours/week year-round, up to 1,040 hours/year. Most Sri Lankan students work hospitality, tutoring and retail at €7–€10/hour. -
