Open to international students paying full overseas tuition. Sri Lankan citizens are eligible. UAE-resident students with strong profiles also qualify but compete in a separate pool.
Tier by Academic Profile
AUS uses a points system combining high-school GPA, A/L grades, and SAT / ACT scores. Sri Lankan A/L 3 As + SAT 1300+ targets the 50% tier; 3 As + SAT 1450+ targets the 75% tier. Lower bands fund the 25% tier.
Maintain Minimum CGPA
The 25% tier renews at CGPA 3.0/4.0. The 50% tier requires 3.3+. The 75% tier requires 3.5+. Drop below and the scholarship steps down to the next-lower tier.
Direct-Entry First Year
Must be applying for the first year of a Bachelor's. Transfer applicants are eligible for a separate Transfer Scholarship at lower tier values.

Apply to an AUS Bachelor's
Submit your AUS undergraduate application via the AUS online portal by the priority deadline (1 March 2026). Include A/L transcripts (predicted + final), SAT / ACT scores, English proficiency (IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 79), and personal statement.
Automatic scholarship assessment
AUS admissions reviews your academic profile and assigns a scholarship tier. The offer letter explicitly states whether the International Scholarship is attached and at what percentage.
Accept the offer + pay deposit
Confirm your place by accepting the offer and paying the tuition deposit (AED 10,000 non-refundable) by the stated deadline. The scholarship credit appears on every semester's tuition invoice.
UAE visa + arrival
AUS handles UAE student visa processing for international students once the deposit is paid. Arrive in Sharjah for August orientation; classes start late August / early September.
