Winter Intake
A strong secondary intake at most universities; ideal if you miss the September deadlines or need extra prep time.

Am I eligible for the Student Direct Stream (SDS)? expand_more
Sri Lanka is on the SDS country list. You qualify if you have IELTS 6.0+ in every band, the full CAD 20,635 GIC, and Year 1 tuition paid upfront. Visa decisions come back in about 20 calendar days. -

Yes — the CAD 20,635 is disbursed back to you in monthly instalments through your first year to cover living costs. You don’t lose the money; it just sits with the bank until you arrive. -
Will I really get the Post-Graduation Work Permit? expand_more
Yes, if your program is at least 8 months long and at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). The PGWP is issued for the same length as your program, up to 3 years. We confirm DLI status before you apply. -

Yes — through Express Entry (federal) or a Provincial Nominee Program. A Canadian degree plus one year of skilled work usually clears the threshold. Most graduates land PR within 2–3 years. -
