2. What this site is
www.lankascholar.com is a marketing and information website for Lanka Scholar, a Sri Lankan study-abroad consultancy. The site publishes general guidance about destinations, costs, visas, courses, and scholarships, and allows you to contact our counsellors by WhatsApp, phone, email, or in person.
The site does not grant admission to any university, guarantee approval of any visa application, or commit any university or government to a particular outcome.
3. Information accuracy
Tuition figures, visa fees, processing times, scholarship amounts, deadlines, and exchange rates change frequently. We make a reasonable effort to publish accurate information and to refresh it on a regular cadence, but every figure on this site should be verified against the issuing authority (university, embassy, immigration department) before you rely on it for a financial or visa decision.
Where this site shows an LKR conversion of a foreign currency figure, the conversion uses an indicative rate that may differ from the rate your bank applies on the day you transfer funds.
4. No guarantee of outcomes
Admission decisions are made solely by universities. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant immigration authority. Lanka Scholar provides advice, application support, and document preparation — we do not control or influence the final decision. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise of admission, scholarship, or visa approval.
5. Lead-form submissions
When you submit a lead form, you authorise Lanka Scholar to contact you by WhatsApp, phone, or email at the details you provide. We use FormSubmit.co to deliver these submissions. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
6. WhatsApp communications
WhatsApp conversations are governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Lanka Scholar stores its side of the conversation history for follow-up and record-keeping purposes — see the Privacy Policy for retention details.
7. Third-party content
This site contains references to third-party institutions (universities, government bodies, scholarship providers). Trademarks and logos referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. References do not imply endorsement of Lanka Scholar by those parties unless explicitly stated.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Lanka Scholar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or reliance on its information. Our total liability in any matter related to this website is limited to the fees, if any, you have paid us directly within the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or related to the use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo.
