Yonsei International Student Scholarship

Yonsei University's International Student Scholarship is a tier-based tuition discount for international undergraduate and graduate students. Tiers range from 30% to 100% (full-tuition waiver) depending on academic record and entry programme. Top-tier awards are renewable each semester subject to maintaining GPA. Sri Lankan applicants with strong A/L profiles or first-class Bachelor's degrees are commonly awarded at the 50-75% tier.

Hold an offer for an eligible Yonsei undergraduate or graduate programme. Yonsei offers extensive English-taught programmes through Underwood International College (UIC) and graduate schools.

Automatic Tier Assignment

All admitted international students are automatically assigned a scholarship tier based on their admissions profile. The award is communicated alongside the admission letter.

Accept and Confirm

Accept your Yonsei offer and confirm enrolment by the published deadline. The discount is applied to your tuition invoice each semester.

Maintain GPA for Renewal

Renewal each semester requires maintaining a GPA threshold at Yonsei (typically 3.0 for 30%, 3.5 for higher tiers). Drop below and the tier reduces or lapses.
