Ajou University International Student Scholarship

Ajou University in Suwon (just south of Seoul) is a private research university with strong engineering, IT, and business faculties and roots in a French-Korean academic partnership. Its international-student scholarships use the familiar Korean model: an entrance tuition reduction of 30%–100% based on your academic record at admission, followed by GPA-linked continuing reductions each semester. Ajou is a solid mid-to-upper-tier choice for Sri Lankan STEM and business applicants who want proximity to Seoul's tech industry without central-Seoul living costs; English-taught graduate tracks accept IELTS or an English-medium degree. As with all these schemes, it is tuition support, not full funding — you cover living costs in Suwon, the flight, and the enrolment deposit, and the highest reduction bands are competitive on grades.
