Open to international students paying full overseas tuition. Sri Lankan applicants are eligible. Students must hold a valid passport from outside Australia / NZ.
Academic Threshold
Western Sydney sets an ATAR-equivalent threshold of around 70+. Sri Lankan A/Ls of 2 Bs and a C (or stronger) typically meets this — check the per-degree entry requirements as some courses set higher floors.
Eligible Programme
The scholarship covers most Bachelor's degrees taught at WSU's Sydney metro and Parramatta campuses. Some externally-delivered programmes (e.g. via WSU College pathways) are excluded — check eligibility before applying.
Maintain Satisfactory Progress
The award continues each semester as long as you maintain a credit average (typically a course-weighted average of 65%) and stay enrolled full-time at WSU.

Receive offer with scholarship attached
Once you meet the academic threshold, the WSU offer letter automatically includes the International Scholarship line. No separate scholarship form.
Accept offer + pay deposit
Confirm your place by accepting the offer and paying the tuition deposit by the stated deadline. The scholarship credit appears on every semester's tuition invoice.
Visa + enrolment
Use the offer + CoE to apply for the Subclass 500 student visa. WSU's international team confirms scholarship continuity each semester subject to your academic progression.
