RMIT Light Up Scholarship

The RMIT Light Up Scholarship is an automatic 20% tuition fee reduction for South Asian undergraduate students — including Sri Lankan citizens — commencing study at RMIT's Melbourne city campus. RMIT Admissions checks your nationality, programme, and academic results against the Light Up Scholarship criteria. There is no separate form — the award is applied automatically if you qualify.

Receive scholarship in offer letter

Eligible students receive an offer letter that explicitly states the Light Up Scholarship value and the reduced tuition fee. The discount is locked in for the duration of the degree provided you maintain enrolment.

Accept offer + pay reduced first instalment

Accept your offer via the RMIT applicant portal. Pay the first semester tuition (now 20% lower than the published international rate) — this triggers your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and Subclass 500 visa application.
