For international students it runs a layered scholarship scheme: an admission (entrance) scholarship that reduces first-semester tuition by 30%–100% based on your academic record on entry, and continuing scholarships each semester tied to your GPA — students holding a high grade average keep a substantial tuition reduction throughout the degree. Some tiers also reward Korean-language ability (TOPIK level), but English-taught programmes accept IELTS or an English-medium degree, so a Sri Lankan applicant with a strong Colombo/Peradeniya/Moratuwa record and no Korean can still qualify for the entrance tier. Apply for admission to Konkuk

Submit the international undergraduate or graduate application through Konkuk's admissions portal for your intended intake, with transcripts, certificates, a study plan, proof of funds, and language evidence (IELTS/TOPIK).

Automatic entrance-scholarship assessment

Admitted international students are assessed for the entrance scholarship from the same application — there is usually no separate scholarship form. Your admission letter states the tuition-reduction percentage granted for the first semester.

Enrol and maintain GPA

From the second semester onward, the continuing scholarship is recalculated on your GPA each term. Keep your grades above the tier threshold to retain the reduction.

Arrange the D-2 student visa

Use your certificate of admission and proof of the remaining tuition plus living funds to apply for the D-2 student visa at the Korean embassy handling Sri Lanka. Show funds for costs the reduction does not cover.
