Universität Hamburg
Eligibility
Non-German students already enrolled at Universität Hamburg — two completed semesters for bachelor's, one for master's. Doctoral researchers are excluded, and you cannot hold other funding at the same time.

Technische Universität Berlin
Eligibility
Small, targeted grants for students already enrolled at TU Berlin. There is no large entrance scholarship — the real saving is that TU Berlin charges no tuition fees.
Heinrich Böll Foundation
Eligibility
International Master's or PhD applicant at a German university with strong academic record AND demonstrated commitment to political, social, or ecological engagement aligned with Green/progressive values.
University of Mannheim
Eligibility
Open to international students who have applied for or are enrolled in a Mannheim bachelor's or master's programme, show good grades, and face genuine financial hardship that endangers their studies.
