Canadian University Dubai Academic Merit Scholarship

Canadian University Dubai (CUD) delivers English-taught Bachelor's and Master's degrees built on a Canadian curriculum model, in business, engineering, communication, architecture, and health sciences, from a campus on Sheikh Zayed Road. CUD offers graded academic merit scholarships that reduce tuition for strong international applicants at both levels. For Sri Lankan students, CUD pairs a North American-style education with a Dubai base — English-medium teaching, a multicultural student body, and UAE post-study work options — without the cost and distance of studying in Canada itself. Some programmes also support pathways and transfers toward partner institutions abroad. Scholarship percentages scale with grades and can change each intake, and the link between a Dubai degree and Canadian recognition varies by programme, so confirm the current scholarship value, eligibility, accreditation, and deadlines with CUD admissions before applying.

Looking for a scholarship because of the cost?

Then start here instead. Scholarships are competitive, usually partial, and decided by someone else — they are the least reliable way to make studying abroad affordable. Your destination and course choice move the number far more, and both are entirely within your control.
