Selection is automatic during admission review and based purely on academic merit. The Aalto School of Business is triple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) and consistently ranked the top business school in the Nordic countries. Master's programmes in English include Strategy, Management & International Business, Marketing, Information & Service Management, Accounting, and Economics. Strong fit for Sri Lankan first-class graduates targeting Nordic / EU business careers — Helsinki is increasingly a fintech and gaming-industry hub.

Strong Bachelor's Degree

Selection ranks applicants strictly on academic merit — undergraduate GPA, relevance of Bachelor's to the chosen Master's, and (where required) GMAT/GRE score. Sri Lankan first-class Bachelor's holders from Moratuwa, Colombo, Jayewardenepura, or international Bachelor's degrees present competitively.

English Proficiency

IELTS 6.5 (with at least 5.5 in writing) or TOEFL iBT 92+ is the standard requirement. Aalto may waive the English test for applicants whose Bachelor's degree was taught entirely in English — confirm per programme.

account_tree Application Process

1

Apply via Studyinfo.fi

Submit your Aalto Master's application via Finland's central admissions portal (Studyinfo.fi) by 8 January 2026. Apply to up to 6 Finnish programmes, with Aalto School of Business as one of your choices. Pay the application processing fee (€100 for non-EU applicants).

2

Upload supporting documents

Upload required documents to Studyinfo.fi: official transcripts, degree certificate (or expected graduation date), English language certificate, CV, motivation letter, and (for some programmes) GMAT/GRE.

3

Automatic scholarship ranking

No separate scholarship form — every admitted non-EU/EEA applicant is automatically ranked for the scholarship based on academic merit. The top tier of admitted applicants receives the 100% waiver; the next tier receives 50%.

4

Decision with admission offer

Scholarship outcomes are communicated together with the admission offer — typically March-April 2026. Awards are automatically applied to your tuition invoice. Renewal in year 2 is contingent on earning at least 60 ECTS in year 1 with a minimum grade average.
