MSc International Management / CEMS
Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University
Course Overview
RSM's MSc International Management / CEMS is the Dutch flagship general-management master's, delivered through the CEMS Global Alliance — a consortium of 32 leading business schools worldwide (LSE, HEC Paris, Bocconi, ESADE, IIM Calcutta, NUS, HKUST, USYD). Graduates earn two degrees: the MSc International Management from RSM and the CEMS Master in International Management (CEMS MIM). The CEMS MIM is consistently ranked top-10 globally for Masters in Management by the Financial Times.
Sri Lankan applicants with a bachelor's in business / economics use the programme as a route into multinational management roles. The 13-month structure: Term 1 at RSM Rotterdam (core management); Term 2 abroad at a CEMS partner school (exchange + business project); Term 3 back at RSM or another partner for electives; thesis project in summer. The integrated mandatory CEMS Business Project — a 6-week consulting engagement with a CEMS corporate partner (BCG, McKinsey, ABN AMRO, Unilever, Heineken) — is a hiring funnel. RSM sits on the Erasmus campus in Rotterdam, with Schiphol Airport 50 minutes away and Amsterdam, Brussels, and Antwerp all on the doorstep.
