Course Overview
Leeds's MSc in Artificial Intelligence is delivered by the School of Computing within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences — a Russell Group department ranked top-10 in the UK for Computer Science (Complete University Guide 2026). The 12-month taught Master's covers core AI foundations (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Knowledge Representation, Search and Optimisation) plus deep specialisation through electives in NLP, Computer Vision, Bio-inspired Computing, and AI Ethics. Students complete a 60-credit individual project — often industry-co-supervised with one of Leeds's partner organisations including the NHS Digital, Asda's data science team, and Sky AI.
