Course Overview
University of Malta's BCom (Hons) Management is delivered through the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy. The 3-year programme combines a generalist BCom foundation (Years 1-2) with focused Year 3 specialisation in organisational behaviour, strategic management, operations management, human resource management, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Malta hosts the headquarters of major iGaming groups (Betsson, Tipico, Kindred, LeoVegas), HSBC's European hub, and a thriving SME ecosystem — giving students realistic project work and internship access.
Sri Lankan A-Level applicants from Commerce or Arts streams choose this programme for the EU-recognised qualification, English-medium teaching, and the lowest fee tier in the EU for an accredited generalist management degree (€9,000/yr). The Year 3 specialisation supports parallel CIMA / ACCA / CIM exemptions. Returnees route into management trainee programmes at John Keells Holdings, Hayleys, Brandix, MAS Holdings, Aitken Spence, Dialog Axiata, Hemas, Cargills, and Unilever Sri Lanka, plus consulting practices at the Big Four Colombo offices.
