Course Overview
emlyon's Global BBA is a four-year undergraduate business degree taught entirely in English, with campus rotations across Lyon (Years 1-2), Paris or international partner universities (Year 3 exchange), and a final-year specialisation track at Lyon, Paris, Mumbai, or Shanghai. emlyon is one of France's three top business schools (with HEC Paris and ESSEC), holds the triple AACSB/EQUIS/AMBA accreditation, and consistently ranks top-15 globally for Bachelor in Management (Times Higher Education, Eduniversal).
Sri Lankan A-Level / IB students choose the Global BBA over UK options because the tuition (€14,500/year) is a fraction of UK Russell Group business degrees (£28,000-32,000/year), the curriculum is entrepreneurship-led (emlyon was founded by the Lyon Chamber of Commerce in 1872 and pioneered the 'early-makers' approach), and the mandatory year of international experience plus 6-12 months of internships builds graduate-employable CVs. Career Outcomes & PR
Global BBA graduates can apply for France's 12-month APS post-study visa or directly enter the European job market — the EU Blue Card opens up after a qualifying graduate-level offer. Around 87% of recent cohorts are employed or in further study within 6 months. Strong placement into Big Four consulting (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC), banking (BNP Paribas, Société Générale), luxury (LVMH, Hermès, Kering), and tech (Amazon, Salesforce, Microsoft). Many graduates progress directly into emlyon's MiM or MSc programmes. Sri Lankan returnees route into junior consulting / finance roles at MAS Holdings, John Keells, Hayleys, Brandix, Dialog, and the Big Four Colombo offices.
