BSc (Hons) Business and Enterprise
University of Malta
Course Overview
University of Malta's BSc (Hons) Business and Enterprise is delivered through the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy at Malta's only public university (founded 1592 — one of Europe's oldest). Malta is an English-speaking EU member state, and all university teaching is in English by default. The Msida campus is a 15-minute drive from Valletta (UNESCO World Heritage city) and the rapidly growing iGaming / fintech corridor in St Julian's and Sliema.
Sri Lankan A-Level / IB applicants choose Malta for several distinctive reasons: tuition at the University of Malta is among the lowest in the EU for non-EU students (€9,000-€11,000/year typical for Bachelor's), Malta is an English-speaking Schengen / EU country with year-round Mediterranean climate, and the booming iGaming sector (Betsson, Tipico, Kindred, LeoVegas all headquartered in Malta) plus fintech / blockchain ecosystem (Binance had its early European HQ in Malta) create real graduate employment routes. The 3-year curriculum covers business management, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, business law, statistics, and economics — Year 3 includes a major dissertation and electives in finance, HRM, or international business.
