Course Overview
Monash's Bachelor of Design is delivered through Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) — one of Australia's leading design schools, ranked top-50 globally for Art and Design (QS by Subject). Located on the Caulfield campus, MADA is housed in a purpose-built design building with workshops, fabrication labs (CNC routing, 3D printing, laser cutting, woodworking, metalworking), digital media studios, and a public exhibition gallery. The 3-year programme offers four specialisations: Industrial Design (product design, transportation design, design for manufacturing), Communication Design (graphic design, typography, branding, motion design), Spatial Design (interior architecture, exhibition design, retail design), and Collaborative Design (interdisciplinary social-impact design).
