What this service is
Most Sri Lankan families come to us with a vague target country and a long list of name-brand universities they've heard of from older cousins. That list is usually three things at once: aspirational, dated, and not actually a fit. Our job is to convert it into a shortlist of 5–8 universities that are realistic on your academic profile, sensible on your family budget, and strong for the career outcome you want.
A counsellor reads your full academic file — O/L, A/L, Bachelor's transcript if applicable, English-test result or plan, work experience — alongside the destinations you've considered. We then map that to live programme data across the 9 destinations we cover: entry requirements, latest tuition in LKR, scholarship deadlines, post-study work rights, and the things you won't find on the university's website (recent visa refusal rates for Sri Lankan applicants, accommodation strain in the city, the strength of the alumni network at home).
The output is a written shortlist with reasoning for every entry — and the reasoning for every university we ruled out. You take it home, your family pressure-tests it, and we adjust. No rush, no high-pressure sales.

How we work it

Profile review
Send us your transcripts, English test (or plan), and a 5-minute note on your career goal and family budget. We read it before the call so we're not asking you to repeat what's already on paper.
First-call shortlist
45-minute WhatsApp call (or walk-in at any of our 4 offices). We talk you through 8–12 candidate universities and you tell us which feel right. We narrow to 5–8 by the end of the call.
Written shortlist
We send the shortlist within 48 hours, with the per-university reasoning your parents can read independently. We iterate over WhatsApp until you and your family are aligned.

Do you cover universities you don't have a referral relationship with? expand_more
Yes. Every shortlist is built around fit first; commercial relationships come second. If a university we don't represent is the better match for your profile, that's where we shortlist you — we'll just be transparent that we won't earn anything from that particular placement. You can still apply through us if you want our help on the application and visa file. -
Can I get a second opinion on a shortlist I made myself? expand_more
Yes, and we do this often. Bring your existing shortlist — we'll tell you honestly which universities are a stretch on your profile, which are coast picks (you'd get in but they're below your level), and what you might be missing. No charge for the second-opinion session.
