Course Overview
TU Delft's MSc Sustainable Energy Technology is a cross-faculty programme built for the energy transition. It combines electrical, mechanical, chemical, and civil engineering perspectives — wind, solar, hydrogen, smart grids, energy storage — into a single 24-month degree. The Netherlands itself is a live lab for offshore wind and hydrogen infrastructure, which is reflected in the project work.
Specialisations include Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Smart Grids, Energy Conversion & Storage, and Economics & Society. The second year is dominated by a research thesis, frequently co-supervised with TenneT, Vattenfall, Shell New Energies, or the offshore wind cluster at the Port of Rotterdam. Sri Lankan students entering the renewables sector back home find the network and exposure unmatched in the region.
Entry Requirements
Academic
