MSc Landscape Architecture
Delft University of Technology (TU Delft)
Course Overview
TU Delft's MSc in Landscape Architecture (a track within the Master of Science in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences) is taught from the Netherlands' top technical university and one of the world's leading schools for the built environment (QS top 10 for Architecture). The track addresses the design of landscapes at every scale — from urban public space to regional water and delta systems — drawing on the Netherlands' globally renowned expertise in water management, climate adaptation, and large-scale landscape engineering.
Sri Lankan applicants — architecture, landscape, and built-environment graduates — choose TU Delft for: world-leading design and research, English-medium delivery, a Europe-competitive tuition level, and the Netherlands' standout 1-year orientation visa (zoekjaar). Given Sri Lanka's coastal and climate-resilience challenges, Dutch delta and water-landscape expertise is directly relevant. The MSc suits those targeting landscape architecture practice, climate-adaptation and urban-design work, and research.
