MSc Civil Engineering
University of Manchester
Course Overview
Manchester's MSc Civil Engineering sits inside the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering (MACE) — one of the largest engineering schools in the UK. The 12-month programme combines a core in structural analysis, geotechnics, hydraulics and construction management with optional pathways in transportation, water resources or sustainable infrastructure, all anchored by an industry-linked dissertation.
A strong fit for Sri Lankan graduates from civil and structural engineering programmes who want UK-accredited postgraduate qualification for the route to chartered engineer (CEng) status with ICE or IStructE. The programme is accredited as part of the IEng/CEng pathway for graduates with an accredited BEng.
