Course Overview

Kyung Hee University's graduate programme in Global Hospitality and Tourism, run on the Seoul campus, is taught with all classes in English and is designed for international students who want a research-based master's in hospitality and tourism management. It sits within Kyung Hee's College of Hotel and Tourism Management, one of Asia's leading hospitality schools and the long-standing flagship of Korean hospitality education, alongside Korean-taught programmes in hotel and service management, tourism, convention and exhibition management, and food-service management. Students combine management theory, tourism research methods and industry projects, and complete a master's thesis.

Tourism is one of Sri Lanka's biggest foreign-exchange earners, and the industry needs managers who understand international service standards, destination marketing and revenue management. The programme suits Sri Lankan graduates in hospitality, tourism, business or management from Colombo, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kelaniya, Sabaragamuwa, Uva Wellassa or SLITHM-linked degree programmes, as well as hotel professionals with a degree who want to move into senior roles. Korean graduate tuition is modest by Western standards, and the D-10 job-seeker visa lets graduates look for work in Korea's hotel and travel sector after graduating.
