Course Overview
McGill University's Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) is delivered by the Desautels Faculty of Management at a U15 research university ranked among Canada's top two and consistently in the QS global top 30. The intensive one-year programme bridges business strategy and advanced analytics — covering statistical modelling, machine learning, optimisation, data visualisation, and analytics-driven decision-making, with a capstone applied-analytics project for an industry partner. Montreal is a major AI hub (home to Mila and a dense machine-learning research cluster), giving graduates strong proximity to analytics recruitment.
Sri Lankan applicants from business, economics, engineering, computer science, and quantitative backgrounds at Colombo, Moratuwa, Sri Jayewardenepura, NSBM, NIBM, and SLIIT Business School choose the MMA to combine management credibility with technical analytics skills. An English-medium Bachelor's typically supports an IELTS waiver via an MOI letter.
