Master of Public Health (MPH)
Seoul National University (Graduate School of Public Health)
Course Overview
The MPH at SNU Graduate School of Public Health is a two-year program covering epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy & management, environmental health, and global health. SNU's GSPH is the leading public-health school in Korea — strong ties to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office headquartered in Manila.
For Sri Lankan health professionals, this is a high-leverage program: SNU's research output on Asia-Pacific infectious disease, ageing populations, and digital health policy is directly relevant to Sri Lanka's health system reforms. The MPH track combines coursework with a research thesis or applied capstone, and most international students secure RA stipends through KDCA or WHO collaborative projects. D-2 visa converts to D-10 job-seeker visa post-graduation.
