Course Overview
The Master of Data Science at the University of Sydney is a three-semester (1.5-year) program housed in the School of Computer Science. It covers the full stack — statistical foundations, machine learning, deep learning, data visualisation, and big data systems — and is open to Sri Lankan applicants from any quantitative bachelor's background (engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or economics).
Coursework is delivered alongside a capstone industry project where students partner with organisations like Commonwealth Bank, CSIRO Data61, and Atlassian on production data problems. Entry Requirements
Academic
