MA History of Art and Heritage
Université PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres)
Course Overview
Université PSL — France's highest-ranked university (QS top 25 globally) and a federation of elite institutions including the École Normale Supérieure and the École Pratique des Hautes Études — offers an MA in History of Art and Heritage. The 2-year (120 ECTS) Master's covers the history of art from antiquity to the contemporary, museology, heritage conservation, and the art market, taught in Paris with unrivalled access to the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, and Europe's richest concentration of museums and archives. Selected tracks and seminars are taught in English; French ability deepens access.
Sri Lankan applicants — graduates in history, fine arts, archaeology, languages, and the humanities — choose PSL for: an elite, very affordable (French public-university fees) art-history credential, Paris's standing as the world's art capital, and France's 1-year job-search residence permit (APS). The MA suits those targeting museums, galleries, heritage and conservation, auction houses, cultural institutions, and doctoral research.
