BSc in Engineering of Computing Systems
Politecnico di Milano
Course Overview
POLIMI's BSc in Engineering of Computing Systems is a three-year English-taught degree at Italy's #1 technical university (QS top-20 globally for Engineering & Technology). The Milan Leonardo campus sits at the heart of Italy's tech and industrial corridor, and POLIMI's partnerships with Ferrari, Pirelli, Leonardo, ST Microelectronics, and Intesa Sanpaolo's tech arm give students very direct industry exposure.
The curriculum blends classical computer engineering — algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, networks, databases — with embedded and cyber-physical systems. POLIMI's tuition follows Italy's ISEE-based progressive system, so Sri Lankan families with documented modest incomes pay closer to €900–€1,800/year rather than the €3,600 ceiling. The degree is recognised across the EU and a natural feeder into POLIMI's own MSc in Computer Science and Engineering.
