Course Overview

Politecnico di Torino's BSc in Computer Engineering is a three-year English-taught degree at one of Italy's top-3 technical universities, located in Turin — the heart of the Italian automotive and aerospace industry (Fiat-Stellantis, Leonardo, Thales Alenia Space, Iveco). PoliTo punches above its weight on industry placement and is significantly cheaper than its Milan counterpart while sharing the same network across Italian engineering employers.

The curriculum covers programming, computer architecture, networks, databases, software engineering, and an introduction to AI and embedded systems. PoliTo runs joint labs with CERN, ESA, and Italy's National Research Council (CNR), so research-curious undergraduates get unusually early exposure. Tuition is on Italy's ISEE-based progressive scale, and low-ISEE Sri Lankan applicants often pay closer to €600–€1,200/year.
