Course Overview

Università Cattolica's BSc Economics and Management is a three-year, 180-ECTS Laurea Triennale taught entirely in English at the Milan campus. The curriculum combines economics and finance, management and business strategy, law and political economy, with a solid base in mathematics, statistics and data-analysis tools. Cattolica is ranked in the QS World University Rankings by Subject top 250 for Economics and Econometrics and top 300 for Business and Management Studies, and 93.5% of graduates say they are satisfied with the programme.

For Sri Lankan school leavers with good A/L results in Commerce or Physical Science (or Cambridge/Edexcel A-Levels), the degree is a respected European alternative to a UK business degree, with Milan's banks, consultancies and multinationals on the doorstep. Non-EU students pay a flat €8,800 a year, which the UCSC International Scholarship reduces to €5,900. Places are limited and competitive, and mathematics matters in selection, so a strong Maths result is important. Graduates can continue to a Cattolica or other European master's, or use Italy's 12-month 'attesa occupazione' permit to look for work.
