Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management
Course Overview
Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jumeirah Group — operators of the Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The campus sits adjacent to the Burj Al Arab in Jumeirah Beach, and the entire programme is integrated with Jumeirah's hotel portfolio for paid internships, masterclasses and graduate hiring. EAHM holds the THE-ICE accreditation (International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education) and the bachelor's degree is validated by Bond University Australia. Two mandatory 6-month paid industry internships are built into the 4-year programme — typically at Jumeirah properties in Dubai, London (The Carlton Tower), Abu Dhabi, or the Maldives.
Sri Lankan applicants — particularly those from Cinnamon, Heritance, Aitken Spence and Jetwing hospitality families targeting the Middle East / Maldives / Asia luxury-resort circuit — choose EAHM for the Jumeirah / Madinat hiring pipeline, the tax-free internship earnings (AED 3,000-5,000/month), and Dubai's proximity to Colombo (4 hours, no time-zone fuss for family). The lower-cost-of-living-than-London-NYC profile combined with 5-star industry exposure makes EAHM one of the highest-ROI hospitality degrees globally for Sri Lankan applicants.
