Bachelor of Business Administration in International Hospitality Management
Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management
Course Overview
The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) is Dubai's flagship hospitality school — a Jumeirah Group / Dubai Holding institution accredited by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and validated by the University of Cumbria (UK) for its degree awards. EAHM students train on-site at the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, and Emirates Towers — Dubai's flagship luxury properties — with operational placements built into every academic year.
The three-year BBA International Hospitality Management is structured around hospitality core (rooms division, food & beverage, revenue management, hospitality marketing), business core (accounting, finance, HR, strategy), and four mandatory paid internships — two in Dubai and two international. Recent international placements include the Ritz-Carlton Paris, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, the Four Seasons George V, and the Cunard transatlantic cruise line.
For Sri Lankan applicants, this is the most direct route into the Dubai / GCC luxury hospitality and aviation services industries — Emirates Airline, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Marriott International, Accor MEA, Hilton MEA, and IHG all run EAHM-targeted graduate hiring programmes. The UAE Golden Visa (10-year residence) is accessible to graduates with strong starting packages, and Dubai's tax-free salary structure makes career economics materially favourable.
