Course Overview

Korea University's Division of International Studies (DIS) is one of the few fully English-taught undergraduate divisions in Korea — every class, exam, and thesis is in English. The four-year BA International Studies degree lets Sri Lankan students major in International Commerce, International Studies, or Korean Studies, with strong East Asia regional coverage in politics, economics, trade, and culture.

DIS is the most direct route for an A/L-leaver who wants a globally-portable undergrad in Korea without first doing a year of Korean-language Topik prep. Class sizes are small (~30 per cohort), the international student share is high, and there are formal exchange agreements with Yonsei, Sciences Po, NUS, and 80+ partner universities for a semester abroad.
