BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management
Edinburgh Napier University
Course Overview
Edinburgh Napier University's Business School consistently ranks among the UK's top 10 for Hospitality, Event Management and Tourism (Complete University Guide). The BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management is a 4-year programme (with an optional 12-month industry placement in Year 3) taught from the Craiglockhart campus — itself a converted Victorian-era hydropathic hospital with full teaching restaurants. The curriculum covers revenue management, food and beverage operations, hotel asset management, sustainable hospitality, and digital marketing for hospitality.
Sri Lankan applicants choose Edinburgh Napier over higher-ranked English universities because the tuition fees are noticeably lower than London / Russell Group equivalents, Edinburgh's living costs are 25-30% below London, and the city is one of Europe's premier tourist hubs (Hogmanay, the Edinburgh Festival, golf tourism) — giving students live industry exposure on their doorstep. UK Graduate Route eligibility post-degree is the same as any UK university.
