Concordia Presidential Scholarship for International Students
Concordia's flagship undergraduate award for international students, the Presidential Scholarship comes in four tiers — CAD 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, or 25,000 — applied as a tuition discount in the first year. The top tier (25,000) is reserved for the very strongest applicants. The full automatic consideration covers most Concordia undergraduate programmes across the Faculty of Arts & Science, John Molson School of Business, Gina Cody School of Engineering, and Fine Arts.

Admission to Concordia Undergraduate
You must be admitted to a Concordia undergraduate degree programme. Independent / certificate / pathway programmes are not eligible.
Strong A/L Record
Awards are determined automatically by your admissions average. Sri Lankan applicants with 3 A grades at A-Level are competitive for the 15,000–25,000 tiers; AAB profiles typically receive the 5,000–10,000 tiers.
International Fee Status
Open to international students paying overseas fees. Sri Lankan citizens applying from Sri Lanka qualify; Canadian citizens and permanent residents are not eligible.
English Proficiency
Meet Concordia's English language requirement — typically IELTS 6.5+ (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 90+. Waivers available for students from English-medium curricula.

Automatic Consideration
All international undergraduate admits are automatically considered for the Presidential Scholarship. The award tier is communicated alongside your offer letter.
Accept and Confirm Enrolment
Accept your Concordia offer and confirm enrolment by the published deadline. The tuition discount is applied to your first-year fee invoice.
Maintain GPA for Renewal
The 15,000 and 25,000 tiers are renewable for up to four years subject to maintaining a 3.30 GPA at Concordia. The 5,000 and 10,000 tiers are one-time first-year awards.
