Course Overview
The MSAI at NTU's College of Computing and Data Science is a one-year, coursework-based Master's designed for graduates who already have a solid programming and mathematics base. For Sri Lankan applicants from BSc Computer Science, Engineering, or Maths backgrounds, it is one of the most direct routes into a research-grade AI specialisation without committing to a PhD.
Core modules cover machine learning, deep learning, mathematics for AI, and AI ethics, with specialisation tracks in computer vision, NLP, robotics, and generative AI. Students also complete an applied dissertation, often in collaboration with NTU's research centres or Singapore-based AI labs such as AI Singapore and A*STAR.
