MSc Architecture
Politecnico di Torino
Course Overview
Politecnico di Torino's school of architecture is one of Italy's most respected, blending the country's deep design heritage with a strong technical, sustainability and digital-fabrication agenda. Its English-taught MSc Architecture (Architecture Construction City) is a two-year laurea magistrale that lets graduates progress toward the Italian / European architect qualification. For Sri Lankan applicants — typically graduates of Moratuwa's architecture programme or international design backgrounds — PoliTo offers world-class design studios, an iconic design city, and very low Italian public-university fees.
The programme integrates design studios with structures, building technology, urban design, restoration and sustainability, supported by BIM and digital-fabrication labs. Turin's design and manufacturing ecosystem gives students access to live projects and exhibitions. Italy's 12-month post-study residence permit, plus the European mobility a recognised architecture qualification confers, make this a strong base for a design career across Europe.
