Course Overview
UNSW Sydney's Master of Public Health is delivered through the School of Population Health within the Faculty of Medicine & Health at a Go8 university ranked in the QS global top 20. The two-year programme covers epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy and economics, global and environmental health, infectious disease control, and health promotion, with capstone projects and electives that let students specialise. UNSW's Kirby Institute and George Institute for Global Health give the programme deep research strength in infectious disease, NCDs, and global health systems — highly relevant to South Asian health priorities.
Sri Lankan applicants — medical graduates, nurses, biomedical scientists, and health-sciences graduates from Colombo, Peradeniya, Sri Jayewardenepura, Ruhuna, and Kelaniya medical faculties — choose this MPH to move into epidemiology, health policy, programme management, and global health roles.
