Course Overview

Career Outcomes & PR
Canada's Post-Graduation Work Permit gives graduates up to 3 years to work, feeding directly into Express Entry and the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) for permanent residence. Alberta petroleum-engineering graduates are recruited by Suncor, Cenovus, Imperial Oil, CNRL, and a growing carbon-capture and geothermal sector, plus energy consultancies. Edmonton and Calgary are Canada's energy-engineering hubs. Engineering roles support strong PR selection, and graduate salaries in the sector run CAD 75,000-95,000.
