Course Overview
The Desautels MBA is a 20-month, full-time program in downtown Montreal — McGill's main professional management degree, run out of the Bronfman Building beside the main campus. Total program tuition for international students entering Fall 2026 is around CAD 108,500, paid across two academic years. Cohort sizes stay small (around 80 students), and Sri Lankan applicants typically come in with 3–5 years of work experience.
The curriculum opens with a 4-month integrated core block, then opens up to concentrations across Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Business Analytics, and Global Strategy & Leadership. Desautels MBA graduates are eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) — up to 3 years of open work authorisation in Canada.
