Course Overview
Massey's MBA is a one-year full-time programme aimed at mid-career professionals — the published profile expects at least three years of management or supervisory experience before entry. Sri Lankan applicants typically come in with five-plus years across banking, FMCG and the BPO sector. Teaching is split between Auckland (Albany) and Palmerston North campuses, with case-method classes, a strategy capstone and an integrated business consultancy project as the final piece.
Massey is the only New Zealand business school holding triple accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA) — relevant when employers back home check the credential. MBA graduates are eligible for the Post-Study Work Visa (PSWV) of up to three years, which gives Sri Lankan students a real runway to get hired in Auckland before deciding on a longer-term path.

- check_circle GMAT/GRE not required — admission is by academic record and work-experience interview.

Career Outcomes & PR
Massey MBA alumni move into senior roles across New Zealand corporates (Fonterra, Spark, ANZ, Fletcher Building) as well as the public sector. The triple-accredited credential is recognised by IBM, Deloitte and PwC in the Auckland market. Graduates use the 3-year Post-Study Work Visa to consolidate NZ experience before applying for the Skilled Migrant Category for residency.
