MA Film & Screen Media
IADT (Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology)
Course Overview
IADT (Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology) is Ireland's leading specialist institute for creative arts, film, and media, located just outside Dublin in Ireland's flourishing screen-production hub. The MA in Film & Screen Media is a one-year programme blending screen theory, production practice, and industry engagement, with strong links to the Irish Film Institute, Screen Ireland, and a film and TV sector that hosts major international productions (thanks to Ireland's Section 481 production incentive).
Sri Lankan applicants — media, film, communications, and creative-arts graduates — choose IADT for: a specialist creative credential at lower cost than the large universities, a one-year completion, proximity to Dublin's screen and media industry, and Ireland's generous 2-year post-study work pathway. The MA suits those targeting careers in film and TV production, screen writing and development, media research, and the wider creative industries.
